Most of you will have noticed that this summer has been exceptionally hot. Whilst some people enjoy temperatures well in to the nineties many find keeping cool is a priority. In the heat understandably people have their doors and windows open to capture a breeze. We have noticed an increase across in the county with sneak in Burglaries. These are the ones where the thief will gain access through an open door or window without breaking in and causing damage. Can I remind you to take an extra minute or two when going out to just make sure your is house secure, ensure all windows are closed and doors locked. Don't be tempted to leave windows open when leaving home to try and keep it cool. |
